October was a busy busy month for the game, showcases, events, our first round of play-testing for the public!? Let's talk about it.



First, a big thank you! For those new to the newsletter and our game, October was an exciting month. We debuted our official trailer at the PR Game Showcase and showcased and early build of our game at First Attack. The response was incredible, and it was thrilling to share our game with the public for the first time. We also received a lot of valuable feedback to help us improve the player experience.


The build we presented at First Attack was a prototype of the game loop players will experience in the full version. Here are our key areas that need fixing :

Shaker with a Side Of Wrist Cramps.

 

The limits of the container in which the shaker is in makes moving the mouse uncomfortable for many players.






Tick Tick Ticking Away

 

The timers are too short, preventing the positive dialogue response from triggering.




That Damned Mashing Game !1!1!

 

Most players didn't just get stuck here due to the speed; hitting the red or yellow on the masher also reset the score, which also caused the build to bug out.



There's a couple more of bugs, typos and just general errors we are working to fix to make the game more pleasurable for ya'll. We're aiming to be able to present newer builds soon for you guys to playtest.
